However, there comes a time when every kilt needs a freshen up, and maybe some minor repairs. At Thistlebrae Kilts we offer a kilt cleaning package that includes cleaning, assessing damage, making minor repairs, and realigning pleats.
Your kilt will be wet cleaned, using a mild wool detergent, and allowed to air dry naturally. The pleats are realigned and individually basted into place to ensure they do not splay - which can take up to 3 hours, and are then professionally steamed and pressed. Any repairs can also be addressed at this time.
